The Pequot Lakes Patriots basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Proctor Rails to 30 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aitkin for a AA Section 7 contest on Tuesday, February 21. Pequot Lakes will battle a Gobblers team coming off a 54-28 non-league loss to Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN). The Gobblers record now stands at 6-16.
The Rails (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Denfeld (Duluth, MN). The Hunters enter the AAA Section 7 contest with a 3-19 record. In their last contest, Denfeld ran past Kelley (Silver Bay, MN), 58-57, in a non-league contest.
