In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Bellflower Buccaneers baseball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Artesia Pioneers.
The Buccaneers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Valley Christian (Cerritos, CA). The Defenders go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Valley Christian tipped Mayfair (Lakewood, CA), 11-0, in a non-league game.
The Pioneers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 3-1 record.
