Grovetown Warriors (Grovetown, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Aquinas Fightin' Irish (Augusta, GA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA) in a 6A Area 2 challenge, on Friday, February 24. Grovetown will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Liberty County (Hinesville, GA).
The Fightin' Irish now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Evans for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. Aquinas will confront a Knights team coming off a 1-0 league win over Grovetown (Grovetown, GA). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.
