The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Abbott for a 1A Region II District 14 challenge on Friday, March 10.

With the loss, Itasca falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wampus cats travel to Italy (Italy, TX) to face the Gladiators in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 22. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a record of 4-0. Italy won 12-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Thorndale (Thorndale, TX)
