The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Cedar Ridge Raiders (Round Rock, TX) and the visiting The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX), saw Cedar Ridge's softball squad nip The Woodlands by a count of 11-8.

The Raiders now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Friendswood for a non-league match on Saturday, February 18. Cedar Ridge will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Georgetown (Georgetown, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, The Woodlands falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Grand Oaks (Spring, TX) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Friday, February 17. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 2-1. Grand Oaks won 16-7 in their recent non-league test against Fulshear (Fulshear, TX)
