El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), 10-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Aztecs now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cooper for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18. El Dorado will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Borger (Borger, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Lubbock falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Westerners travel to Randall (Amarillo, TX) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 3-3.
