Texas High School Softball - Lovejoy bounces Montwood

The Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) softball routed the host Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX), 15-2 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Leopards (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Klein Collins (Spring, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Klein Collins notched a victory over Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX), 17-0, in a non-league bout.

The Rams now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Americas for a 6A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, February 21. Montwood will confront a Trail Blazers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Langham Creek (Houston, TX). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 3-4.
