The Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) softball routed the host Tuloso-Midway Warriors/Cherokees (Corpus Christi, TX), 7-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Indians (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Brennan (San Antonio, TX). The Bears go into the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Brennan was routed by Pearland (Pearland, TX), 11-2, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors/Cherokees play the Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 18. Tuloso-Midway will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Liberty (Liberty, TX).
