The Santa Fe Indians softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Victoria West Warriors to 2 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Santa Fe moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX) to play the Jaguars in a non-league game on Friday, February 17. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 2-0. Flower Mound won 7-1 in their recent non-league game against Socorro (El Paso, TX)
In their next game, the Warriors play the Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 21. Victoria West will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Sandcrabs come into the game with a 1-5 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to La Joya (La Joya, TX).
