Texas High School Softball - Wakeland bounces Sweetwater

Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Sweetwater Mustangs (Sweetwater, TX), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverines now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18. Wakeland will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Celina (Celina, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Sweetwater falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Clyde (Clyde, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 5-1.
