The Boyd County Lions basketball team (Ashland, KY), dropped 93-75 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY)
The Black Bears now sport a 25-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Knox Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 20. Harlan County will battle a Panthers team coming off a 69-20 non-league win over Cordia (Hazard, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 18-8.
The Lions (22-6) will now prepare for their battle against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 12-11 record. In their last battle, Johnson Central dropped by Knott County Central (Hindman, KY), 55-51, in a non-league battle.
