West Virginia High School Basketball - Lewis County tipped by Bridgeport

February 17, 2024: Bridgeport, WV 26330

In Saturday's league match, the host Bridgeport Indians basketball team scored a tight 52-45 triumph over the Lewis County Minutemen.

In their next game, the Indians meet the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a Big Ten match, on Wednesday, February 21. Bridgeport will attempt to better on its 16-4 season record. The Polar Bears enter the match with a 19-2 record after their 65-60 non-league win over Huntington (Huntington, WV).

With the defeat, Lewis County moves to 12-9 on the year. The Minutemen travel to Grafton (Grafton, WV) to meet the Bearcats in a Big Ten match on Tuesday, February 20. The Bearcats enter the match with a record of 8-11.
