New York High School Basketball - Burgard overwhelms Global Concepts

February 17, 2024: Buffalo, NY 14214

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Burgard Bulldogs (Buffalo, NY) and the visiting Global Concepts Gators (Lackawanna, NY), saw Burgard's basketball squad wallop Global Concepts by a tally of 64-36.

With the victory, Burgard improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Medina (Medina, NY) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 6-14. Medina lost 51-33 in their recent league challenge against Wilson (Wilson, NY)

Next up, the Gators play the Chautauqua Lake Thunderbirds (Mayville, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Global Concepts will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 78-27 non-league loss to General McLane (Edinboro, PA).
