The Cardinal Newman Cardinals basketball team (Santa Rosa, CA), was nudged 42-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins (Vallejo, CA)

The Bruins now possess a 19-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benicia for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 21. St. Patrick-St. Vincent will battle a Panthers team coming off a 51-37 non-league win over American (Fremont, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 20-10.
