Cherry Hill East Cougars (Cherry Hill, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Woodbury Thundering Herd (Woodbury, NJ), 49-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cherry Hill East upgrades its record to 12-15 on the season. The Cougars travel to Cherokee (Marlton, NJ) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 21. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 17-12. Cherokee won 56-54 in their recent non-league bout against Cinnaminson (Cinnaminson, NJ)

Next up, the Thundering Herd clash with the Penns Grove Red Devils (Carneys Point, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. Woodbury will attempt to upgrade on its 14-13 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 10-14 record after their 63-40 non-league loss to Washington Township (Sewell, NJ).
