Crosby-Ironton Rangers (Crosby, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hibbing Bluejackets (Hibbing, MN), 70-62 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Crosby-Ironton upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Esko (Esko, MN) to play the Eskomos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Eskomos come into the bout with a record of 18-7. Esko won 64-50 in their recent league bout against Barnum (Barnum, MN)
Next up, the Bluejackets play the Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Wolverines (Eveleth, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Hibbing will attempt to upgrade on its 3-19 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 19-7 record after their 89-80 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Minneapolis, MN).
