The Lafayette Generals basketball team (Lexington, KY), was routed 79-55 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY)
The Cardinals now sport a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Danville Christian Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 20. Wayne County will meet a Warriors team coming off a 63-47 non-league win over North Oldham (Goshen, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 21-5.
With the defeat, Lafayette moves to 8-18 on the year. The Generals travel to Henry Clay (Lexington, KY) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Thursday, February 22. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 22-6.
