Wisconsin High School Basketball - Lake Country Lutheran topped by West Salem

The West Salem Panthers basketball team scored 95 points and restricted the visiting Lake Country Lutheran Lightning to 85 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westby for a Coulee contest on Monday, February 19. West Salem will battle a Norsemen team coming off a 73-67 league loss to Black River Falls (Black River Falls, WI). The Norsemen record now stands at 9-14.
The Lightning (18-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. John's Northwestern Military Academy (Delafield, WI). The Lancers come into the Midwest Classic contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, St. John's Northwestern Military Academy was defeated by Living Word Lutheran (Jackson, WI), 62-59, in a league contest.
