The Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) basketball felled the visiting Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY), 68-55 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (8-14) will now prepare for their test against Fairview (Ashland, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 7-20 record. In their last test, Fairview was beaten by Russell (Russell, KY), 77-61, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 8-18 record. They play next when they host Elliott County for a non-league test on Monday, February 19. Menifee County will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 65-54 non-league win over St. Joseph Central (Ironton, OH). The Lions record now stands at 5-21.
