The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders basketball team (Scotch Plains, NJ), was nudged 67-66 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ)
The Tigers now sport a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Governor Livingston for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 22. South Plainfield will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to Johnson (Clark, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-9.
The Raiders (12-12) will now prepare for their battle against Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ). The Red Devil come into the non-league battle with a 16-9 record. In their last battle, Ridge edged Columbia (Maplewood, NJ), 54-39, in a non-league battle.
