The Vega Longhorns basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Springlake-Earth Wolverines to 55 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Saturday.

The Longhorns now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Vega will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 64-56 league loss to Floydada (Floydada, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 19-11.

The Wolverines (16-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 15-13 record. In their last contest, Pringle-Morse dropped by Hart (Hart, TX), 38-31, in a non-league contest.
