The Golden Valley Grizzlies volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Paraclete Spirits to 1 in the Grizzlies non-league victory on Saturday.

The Grizzlies now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poly for a non-league game on Monday, February 19. Golden Valley will meet a Parrots team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Crespi (Encino, CA). The Parrots record now stands at 0-3.

The Spirits (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Castaic (Castaic, CA). The Coyotes enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Castaic nipped California (Whittier, CA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
