Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Denfeld Hunters (Duluth, MN), 64-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Big Lake upgrades its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Hornets host Becker (Becker, MN) to play the Bulldogs in a AAA Section 5 bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 16-8. Becker won 73-47 in their recent league bout against Princeton (Princeton, MN)

Next up, the Hunters play the Cook County Vikings (Grand Marais, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Denfeld will attempt to upgrade on its 3-24 season record.
