The Calvert Senecas basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Cardinal Stritch Cardinals to 30 in the Senecas non-league victory on Saturday.
The Senecas now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vanlue for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 21. Calvert will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 49-32 league loss to Elmwood (Bloomdale, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-17.
The Cardinals (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Patrick Henry (Hamler, OH). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Patrick Henry prevailed over Delta (Delta, OH), 68-42, in a league contest.
