The Davis-Romoth Wolves basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Martin L Olson Lynx to 47 in the Wolves non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wolves now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aqqaluk for a 1A Northwest Arctic contest on Saturday, February 17. Davis-Romoth will battle a Bears team coming off a 71-55 league loss to Davis-Romoth (Selawik, AK). The Bears record now stands at 4-5.
The Lynx (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against McQueen (Kivalina, AK). The Qavviks come into the non-league bout with a 0-9 record. In their last bout, McQueen was edged by Davis-Romoth (Selawik, AK), 56-39, in a league bout.
