Varsity Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hillsboro Christian Academy Crusaders (Hillsboro, OH), 50-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 151-504 on the season. The travel to Life Center Academy (Burlington, NJ) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. Next up, the Crusaders play the Ross County Christian Academy Eagles (Chillicothe, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Hillsboro Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 39-15 non-league loss to Ohio Valley Christian (Gallipolis, OH).
