The Lincoln County Patriots basketball squad (Stanford, KY), was trounced 52-25 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY)
The Generals (16-12) will now prepare for their outing against Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 6-21 record. In their last outing, Sayre smashed Villa Madonna (Covington, KY), 46-40, in a non-league outing.
The Patriots now own a 9-16 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsburg for a non-league outing on Monday, February 19. Lincoln County will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 51-49 non-league loss to East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-20.
