The West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ), 43-33 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Knights (14-12) will now prepare for their test against Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 17-8 record. In their last test, Wayne Hills thwarted Eastside (Paterson, NJ), 50-47, in a non-league test.
The Mounties now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Passaic County Tech for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 21. Montclair will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-43 non-league win over Indian Hills (Oakland, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-11.
