West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY), 61-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Jessamine upgrades its record to 22-6 on the season. The Colts travel to Boyle County (Danville, KY) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 19-9. Boyle County won 74-56 in their recent league bout against Garrard County (Lancaster, KY)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Wayne County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-14 season record.
