Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT) followers left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Essex Hornets (Essex Junction, VT), 6-1 in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (11-6) will now prepare for their match against Rutland (Rutland, VT). The Raiders enter the match with a 1-15 record. In their last match, Rutland was trounced by Middlebury (Middlebury, VT), 5-2, in a league match.
Next up, the Hornets clash with the South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT) in a match, on Wednesday, February 21. Essex will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 17-2 record after their 4-0 league win over Spaulding (Barre, VT).
