In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting JV Opponent lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Benton Tigers.
The now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host South Warren for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17.
The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA). The Gators enter the challenge with a 0-0 record.
