Byron Nelson Bobcat (Trophy Club, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcat now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Azle for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. Byron Nelson will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Pebble Hills falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Eastwood (El Paso, TX) to battle the Troopers in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Troopers enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Eastwood won 11-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Parkland (El Paso, TX)
