Eastwood Troopers (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Clint Lions (Clint, TX), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Troopers now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkland for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. Eastwood will face a Matadors squad coming off a 12-5 non-league win over Coronado (El Paso, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Clint falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Ysleta (El Paso, TX) to face the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 4-0. Ysleta won 17-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Horizon (El Paso, TX)
