Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Dobie Longhorns (Houston, TX) and the host Lee Volunteers (San Antonio, TX), witnessed Dobie's softball squad tip Lee by a count of 7-3.

The Longhorns now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to China Spring for a non-league match on Saturday, February 17. Dobie will face a Cougars squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Lee moves to 2-3 on the season. The Volunteers travel to Brandeis (San Antonio, TX) to face the Broncos in a 6A Region IV District 28 match on Wednesday, February 21. The Broncos go into the match with a record of 1-2. Brandeis lost 17-6 in their recent non-league match against Sherman (Sherman, TX)
