Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA), 11-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Barons now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tesoro for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 21. Fountain Valley will battle a Titans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Edison (Huntington Beach, CA). The Titans record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, El Toro falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to battle the Stallions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Stallions enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. San Juan Hills lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against El Modena (Orange, CA)
