Alabama High School Softball - Helena gets by Northside

February 17, 2024: Helena, AL 35080

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) and the visiting Northside Rams (Northport, AL), witnessed Helena's softball squad tip Northside by a count of 5-4.

The Huskies now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Pell City for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 20. Helena will face a Panthers squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to West Limestone (Lester, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Northside moves to 1-3 on the season. The Rams host Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 20. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 0-1. Tuscaloosa County lost 4-3 in their recent non-league match against Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL)
