The Hughes Springs Mustangs (Hughes Springs, TX) softball routed the host Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX), 13-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Beckville (Beckville, TX). The Bearcats go into the non-league bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Beckville toppled Kilgore (Kilgore, TX), 14-4, in a non-league bout.
