Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Judson Rockets (Converse, TX), 11-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hebron for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22.

With the loss, Judson falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Leander (Leander, TX) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 5-0.
