The Sabercats now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seguin for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. Vela will face a Matadors squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Luling falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Pleasanton lost 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against IDEA South Flores (San Antonio, TX)
