The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) and the host Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX), saw Taft's softball squad nip Marshall by a count of 6-1.

The Raiders now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brennan for a 6A Region IV District 29 match on Tuesday, February 20. Taft will face a Bears squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Danbury (Danbury, TX). The Bears record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Marshall falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Clark (San Antonio, TX) to face the Cougars in a 6A Region IV District 28 match on Tuesday, February 20. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 1-0. Clark won 15-8 in their recent league match against Reagan (San Antonio, TX)
