The Indians now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cesar E. Chavez for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20.

With the loss, New Waverly falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Splendora (Splendora, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Splendora lost 9-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Harlan (San Antonio, TX)
