California High School Softball - Santa Clara bounces Pacifica

February 17, 2024: Oxnard, CA 93033

Santa Clara Saints (Oxnard, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Saints now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ventura for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. Santa Clara will face a Cougars squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Fillmore (Fillmore, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Pacifica falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tritons travel to Calabasas (Calabasas, CA) to face the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Calabasas lost 14-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Chaminade (West Hills, CA)
