The Largo Packers (Largo, FL) baseball trounced the visiting Boca Ciega Pirates (Gulfport, FL), 11-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Packers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northeast for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 19. Largo will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg, FL). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Boca Ciega drops to 0-4 on the year. The Pirates host Bell Creek Academy (Riverview, FL) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 18. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Bell Creek Academy lost 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against IMG Academy Silver (Bradenton, FL)
