In Monday's non-league game, the host Calera Eagles baseball team scored a nice 15-5 victory over the Minor Tigers.
The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Marbury (Marbury, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Marbury thwarted Chilton County (Clanton, AL), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Minor drops to 0-3 on the year. The Tigers host Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 18. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Clay-Chalkville lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Clair County (Odenville, AL)
