The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Livonia Wildcats (Livonia, LA), 10-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Avoyelles for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 18. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Livonia drops to 1-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Northwest (Opelousas, LA) to play the Raiders in a non-league test on Wednesday, February 19. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 3-3. Northwest won 14-3 in their recent non-league test against LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA)
