Louisiana High School Baseball - Springfield defeats Haynes Academy

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA) and the visiting Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), saw Springfield's baseball team gain a win over Haynes Academy by a tally of 10-5.
The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against East Ascension (Gonzales, LA). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, East Ascension was overwhelmed by St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA), 13-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the face the E.D. White Cardinals (Thibodaux, LA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 18. Haynes Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA).
