In Monday's non-league contest, the host Central Golden Eagles basketball team scored a good 80-62 win over the Agawam Brownies.
The Golden Eagles (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Holyoke (Holyoke, MA). The Purple Knights come into the Valley contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Holyoke defeated Chicopee Comp (Chicopee, MA), 62-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Brownies battle the Minnechaug Regional Falcons (Wilbraham, MA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 19. Agawam will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 9-9 record after their 75-41 non-league loss to Pope Francis Prep (Springfield, MA).
