Michigan High School Basketball - Ogemaw Heights fells Alcona

The Ogemaw Heights Falcons basketball squad scored 54 points and held the visiting Alcona Tigers to 44 in the Falcons non-league victory on Monday.

With the victory, Ogemaw Heights advances its record to 12-8 on the year. The Falcons host Beaverton (Beaverton, MI) to meet the Beavers in a Jack Pine battle on Tuesday, February 18. The Beavers enter the battle with a record of 8-11. Beaverton won 39-35 in their recent league battle against Shepherd (Shepherd, MI)

The Tigers now own a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tawas Area for a North Star battle on Tuesday, February 18. Alcona will meet a Braves squad coming off a 49-19 non-league win over Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI). The Braves record now stands at 5-12.
