Illinois High School Basketball - Forreston routs Amboy

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Forreston Cardinals basketball team scored a big 60-34 win over the Amboy Clippers.

The Cardinals (19-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL). The Panthers come into the Northwest Upstate Illini - North contest with a 18-9 record. In their last contest, Lena-Winslow was trounced by Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL), 64-57, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Clippers battle the Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Amboy will attempt to better on its 10-17 season record.
