The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) and the visiting Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL), observed Andrew's basketball team edge Bremen by a score of 56-49.
The Thunderbolts (13-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Vikings come into the SouthWest Suburban challenge with a 26-3 record. In their last challenge, Homewood-Flossmoor was tipped by Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL), 69-63, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Braves encounter the Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 20. Bremen will attempt to improve on its 10-20 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 0-28 record after their 72-69 league loss to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL).
